Passing of PGK Joseph Ludwig Jr., HLM

It is with deep regrets that the Father O'Neill Council must pass on the news of the passing of Joseph Ludwig. A long time member of the Father O'Neill Council, Joe Ludwig spent 50 years in the Knights, serving one term as Grand Knight (1967/68).

Born in 1924, Charlie joined the Knights on October 2nd, 1957, becoming a Sir Knight in 1964. Joe was a continuous member of the Knights of Columbus for 61 years, achieving the title of "Honorary Life Member." Joe is survived by his sons Jay, Marty, and Phil Ludwig, his daughter Mary Crenson, and his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed around the Council, as well as in the community.

Joseph's name will be added to the Necrology board in the Century Lounge, and will be remembered at the Memorial Mass in November. The Council asks that you keep Joe Ludwig and his family in your prayers.

More information on his life and funeral arrangements can be found here.

Vivat Jesus,

Karl Tschanz

Grand Knight
