Dear Brothers,

It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of Brother Eugene "Arky" Baker. Although not known to many members of the council, I had the pleasure of visiting with him on several occasions. Eugene was a recipient of the Navy Cross for valor during the Korean War, as a member of the Marine Corps, as well as one of the "Frozen Chosen" of the 1st Marine Division. He was a very unassuming and kind man and a very devoted family man.

The viewing will take place on Thursday May 23rd from 5-8 PM at the Lemon Funeral Home at 10 W. Padonia Rd., Timonium, MD. The funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 24th at 10AM at St. Joseph's in Cockeysville. If at all possible, please show up to show pay your respects to the family for one of our fellow Brother Knights and a true American hero.

Fraternally yours,

Andy Gleeson PGK
